My boyfriend (SD native) and I (Yooper native) stayed at Jason and Misty’s place. We used majorly airbnb to communicate and both our hosts were prompt to respond and informative. Location is perfect for being outside of town yet still close enough to things to do/shops. The house was clean and cozy. We utilized the fire pit, which was also very clean and cozy. Check-in was flexible, secure, and easy. Definitely would recommend checking out this home “just south of heaven.” Thank you both Misty and Jason for sharing your property and your hospitality!

Great location. Easy to find and get to. Perfectly located just off main road. Not a bad drive to many activities and locations.

It was a great place, we stayed there for three nights and mostly cooked in. it has a great and full kitchen Lovely place, I would certainly recommend it.

This was my first experience with Airbnb and I didn’t understand the pricing scheme and marketing strategy used by Airbnb and their partners. Navigating the website is very easy and convenient. The advertised price of $71 per night seemed very reasonable and I agreed to proceed with completing the agreement, understanding there would be a hefty fee for cancellation once I did proceed. I was surprised when cleaning and service fees and taxes were added, these charges exceeded 60% of the daily rate, still a bit lower than the local hotel. Except for the trip down and up the basement stairs to perform the laundry chores the stay was pleasant.

Jason and Misty were extremely quick to respond. The home was exactly what we were looking in the perfect location. Based of their recommendations we had an absolutely wonderful vacation. Will definitely be visiting again next year. The house had everything we needed from pots and pans to a crockpot!
