Unfortunately, our stay was far from enjoyable due to numerous issues. The furniture and rugs were heavily soiled. With the sofa being sunken in and so dirty, we had to cover it before sitting. The kitchen cabinets were dirty and required cleaning on our part. The entire place had a musty smell, including the closets, necessitating constant use of air fresheners. The windows were dirty and missing screens, preventing adequate airflow. We encountered spiders and webs throughout the property, both inside and out. Specifically, we found spiders on a bed, a black widow in the coat closet, another on a chair in the main living area, and webs on all the ceilings. The exterior of the windows had large webs in the corners with spiders present. The fans and air filters were extremely dirty and seemed not to have been replaced in years. Additionally, the bathroom window lacked any covering, forcing us to purchase a temporary paper blind. Overall, this was probably our worst Airbnb expereince.
We had a great stay at Michael’s! The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It was a quick Uber ride to get to downtown Sacramento. The yard was huge and great for our dog-o who enjoyed running around. The beds were really comfy too! The home has everything you need and the host is responsive and provides some great local recommendations! We would def stay here again!
Michael never disappoints with any of his homes. We always like to stay at one of his places when we are in Sacramento.
Michael and cohosts were super helpful in getting our reservation confirmed. I traveled with my husband and 2 toddler daughters. Very spacious and clean place. My girls loved it.

If you get the chance, try the city's newest form of transit - electric bike sharing! JUMP Bikes and E scooters are becoming more and more popular in the area and are a really fun way to get around. Of course Uber and Lyft are everywhere too!
Public transportation runs up and down the main cross street; although we are not the best with navigating the routes. Midtown Sacramento is a 10 minute car ride away.
If you have a car, feel free to park right in front of the house on the street.
