My boyfriend and I had a lovely time here. It was nice and peaceful and quiet. The seating area outside is very nice if it’s sunny and you can even play jeu de boules! The house is spacious and it has a very nice kitchen. However, I have a couple of points I’d like to address. One thing I would recommend is bringing your own kitchen gear. The number of cutting boards or knives were adequate and I would have loved a kettle for tea. Also, when we arrived they were renovating the part with the pool. That was no problem if it was only one day, but the day after they were still working even though we were hoping for some privacy. Another point is the fact that the house is very cold. When I was there it was 12-14 degrees outside, and inside it was 17 degrees. I was happy to bring an extra blanket because it was freezing! Luckily there is a fireplace but it would have been nice if the house itself was warm enough. I wonder how it is in the summer.

Emilie was very helpful and accommodating even though we arrived later than planned. The gite is refurbished to a high standard and was a very comfortable base for our bike trip. Secure parking was also very handy for the bikes. We didn't explore much of the local area due to touring further afield but there is a large supermarket etc. in the town around 10 minutes away. Very nice and peaceful surroundings and would recommend.
