Diana & Wilfried would like to welcome you to Casa Caliche! I, Wilfried, managed 2 Coffee Export companies in Honduras - Central America, now more than 25 years ago. After a refreshing MBA at INSEAD in 1986, a few challenging positions with multinationals followed. In September 1990 we moved to the Madrid area. Since 1994 I am active in Wealth Management and from 1999 as an independent broker, advising private clients on their financial matters. We live in our home, Casa Caliche, since March of 2000. I am thoroughly enjoying the nature around us and appreciate the tremendous comfort of being so close to Madrid. I am sure you will perceive that my wife, Diana is a fantastic host. I have over 34 years of real life experience .. and suggest you come visit our B&B and get a taste of it. I, Diana, started and managed Alitalia GSA-Honduras operations, enjoyed and loved working as a tour conductor in Florence, working for several other airlines and travel agencies in Honduras. Travelling has been a gift, my personal background has been airports, planes, interesting people & places around the world. My inner strength comes from people and different cultures, with different lifestyles, these experiences altogether, have been enriching to me. I have studied Fashion & Costume Design, Trans-personal Psychology in the countries where I have lived. I am very passionate about PR, walking, helping people feel comfortable & relaxed, window shopping in order to be up to date with fashion, informing and making reservations for our guests in the Madrid Community & naturally enjoy being a helpful host to my guests. Our home is fully decorated with handicrafts from different countries; there is a story behind every object. We have created a micro world in an area where nature's beauty gives us joy and tranquility, however, if we feel like having "Spanish Tapas", Madrid is reachable in about 20 minutes. The Madrid area is beautiful, our green Madrid has so much to offer: theaters, museums, flamenco dance, ballet, musicals, parks, mountains, cute villages, cultural events, local markets, sports facilities, fantastic restaurants, concerts, bars, historical monuments, festivals, etc.
