Space to spread out and relax while you enjoy one of the wonderful local wines by the fireplace in beautiful Yarra Glen. Only a minute's drive to farmland, vineyards and a walk to local shops. Large, private self-contained front of the house with your own entrance, main bedroom and lounge, sitting room / 2nd bedroom, dining / kitchenette and modern bathroom. Queen bed + single bed. Ideal for a couple or small family. Sleeps max of 3 adults or a couple with 1 child. LOCATION: The accommodation is in a convenient location in Yarra Glen, barely an hour from Melbourne CBD and Melbourne Airport. Less than 15 minutes to Healesville, Healesville Sanctuary and dozens of Yarra Valley vineyards and wineries. MAIN BEDROOM: Large main bedroom with queen size bed, reverse cycle heating and cooling, electric blanket. LOUNGE: The expansive front room also includes a large lounge area, with 2 armchairs plus a 2 seater couch to relax with TV and Netflix. SITTING ROOM / SECOND BEDROOM: Comfy area with daybed (which can be made up as a very comfortable single bed, with electric blanket). This area is an open area opposite the kitchenette / dining area, sharing the warmth of the fireplace. KITCHENETTE / DINING ROOM: This space has cups, glasses, bowls, dishes and cutlery, a mini fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. Nespresso pod coffee machine. Continental breakfast items included such as milk, bread, cereal, butter, jam and honey. There is a dining table with 4 chairs and the area is warmed by a lovely gas log fire place. NOTE: There is no stove or sink in the kitchenette – you can rinse dishes at one of the bathroom basins, or just leave the dirty dishes to be washed by the host. ENTERTAINMENT: Smart TV, with Netflix, and an assortment of DVD’s. Unlimited free WiFi is included. There are also board and card games for your enjoyment. BATHROOM: The modern bathroom, large mirror over 2 hand-basins, spacious walk-in shower, fluffy towels, heater lamps, complimentary toiletries including Soaps, Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend, we were in Yarra Glen for a wedding and this was ideal for somewhere to stay close to the shops and a short drive from Healesville. The space was well appointed with lots of options for breakfast/coffee & tea. Be advise the kitchenette doesn’t have a sink or stove but dishes but this was no issue for us on our short stay. Overall would highly recommend!
Thank you Maurice for opening your home to us. It was just like an English cottage. Spacious warm, clean and comfortable. It was a short walk into town where there were lovely cafes. It was central (drive) to many vineyards and gardens as well as the cholocaterier. We were lucky to have the perfect Autumn weather. Beautiful place to stay in beautiful Yarra Glen.
Travelling for a wedding and after party the venue was perfectly situated . Maurice was very responsive when communicating . Maurice was very helpful for us with the offer of an early check in. That is without asking . Recommended to anybody travelling to the Yarra valley . Regards Tommy
Maurice’s place is just what my daughter and I needed over Easter weekend. It was comfortable with lots of recommendations for what to do in the area. I look forward to staying again in the future!
Superbly appointed spacious accommodation. Quiet, accessible location. Extremely comfy bed and thoughtful touches including continental breakfast with locally made spreads. Maurice was a highly responsive and helpful host. Thoroughly recommend as a base for explore the wonderfull offerings of the Yarra Valley.

In a lovely residential part of Yarra Glen, you will be just a minute’s drive to the supermarket, chemist, bakeries, cafes, antique dealers and other shops in Yarra Glen village.
There are numerous lovely wineries and dining venues and sights scattered around the area within just a few minutes drive.
Whether you’re attending a wedding, touring, wining and dining, ballooning, bush walking, cycling ….. this is the place to have as your perfect base for a multitude of things to see and do, or to just relax.
You will generally need a car to get the most out of your trip to Yarra Glen and the surrounding Yarra Valley. There is a bus service between Yarra Glen and Lilydale (about 15 minute trip). You can can travel by train between Lilydale and the city of Melbourne (about an hour trip).
