We stayed as a group of 6 adults (+dogs) to stay for 3 nights around the April eclipse. The place is very comfortable inside with a well equipped kitchen, large dining room, and cozy living room area with a pellet stove. Both bathrooms are large and well appointed. The two bedrooms are large and the loft is cozy but comfortable. The deck is great--even with April snow it was a great spot to have coffee and enjoy the view. The setting was just the kind for wooded private area we were looking for with easy access to shops, bars, and restaurants in St. Johnsbury. Meg has an attentive and generous host-- we loved the eclipse themed gift basket! The kitchen had coffee makers, coffee supplies which we made good use of. Meg answered all our questions very quickly made us feel very well looked after. Can recommend for anyone looking for a cozy stay in a quiet part of Vermont --especially if you have dogs!
