I found it be okay. For the price, it was comfortable enough and met my needs. Here are my list of pros and areas needing improvement. PROS: good value for the price; nice neighborhood; comfortable bed; very dark room with black out curtains. Areas of concern: the smell of cigarette smoke when one first enters the house, but thankfully no smell once you're in the house. I stayed for two nights. After the first night, when leaving the house in the morning, a dog had urinated on the living room floor. It was picked up by the time I came back that night. During the middle of the second night, I got up to use the bathroom around 4am, and a dog had pooped in front of the bathroom floor in the hallway. I could hear someone cleaning it up immediately, but still, it was... unexpected. Also, the light switch has a faulty remote that caused the light to go on three times in middle of the night. I was certain I had not accidentally set this.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. PROS Keypad front door entry Nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Smart TV in room Amazing ceiling fan Good water pressure 420 friendly home CONS No washer/dryer usage Kitchen is barricaded off so it feels unwelcoming. (I ate out for my entire 8 day stay) There are 3-4 dogs and they are very territorial and bark incessantly every time you come down the stairs with the host sitting by failing to correct them. This feels awkward. Especially when the host doesn’t correct them. I feel the dogs should be trained to get accustomed to an influx of rotating strangers in the home for both their sake as well as to promote guest comfort. Commute to San Diego is a beast, so if you work in SD you will need to plan for a 1.5-2 hour commute during rush hour. Overall, Jeff’s place did exactly what I needed it to, and I really don’t have any major complaints. I recommend his home for anyone 420 and animal friendly.
