Lovely experience at this Airbnb. No problems at all. It was cleaned weekly and the others guest were nice. This man really knows how to run an Airbnb. This was my first experience with Airbnb and I am happy that it went so well. The room was small but that isn’t something that is a dealbreaker for me.

I was prepared to stay in a shared space, but this dilapidated house had 5!!! rooms for rental on one floor with one bathroom and one refrigerator. Plus some of the rooms had multiple people staying in them! The walls were so thin and there were so many people staying there that it was impossible to rest. You could hear every word on the TV and every move from the other "guests." The kitchen and living area were also not at all sufficient to accommodate so many residents, and it's misleading that the ad doesn't indicate that so many people stay there at one time. The front entrance was disgusting with a hole in the wall. Felt unsafe and unsanitary. I had the impression that some of the people staying there were living there long-term due to an inability to find affordable housing. So far, there has been no response to my request for a refund. This place seems to mostly attract residents who are seriously indigent or tourists looking to slum it in Chicago to save money. Not recommended.

I did not expect to receive the room I did but after a few days I was delighted with that choice. The room fit my situation perfectly. It is ideal for a single individual who does not mind a cozy space. If you are particular and need a spacious room I would suggest you inquire about which room you’ll have first before booking. Overall I am grateful that I chose this home :)!! Nice & respectful host/guests. Great services/amenities. The quietness was unbelievable.

great deal for a single person traveling. could use some additional paper towels in the common area or individual trash cans, but overall was great
