Aurora cabin is the getaway we’ve all been waiting for - from the private location surrounded by trees and water, to the most beautiful campfire pit in Alaska, to a comfy bed Rip van Winkle would be jealous of, this place has it all. The cabin is kitted out with fridge, toaster, and electric kettle for sleepy time tea and morning coffee, and the adorable outhouse is clean enough to sleep inside. But what really shines about this property is the darling host family - a resourceful, easy-going, welcoming bunch of folks who not only make you feel at home, but like part of the family.

this was such a cute cabin and area. perfect place to stay if you’re wanting to ski at hatchers pass. provided amazing heating inside cabin definitely would stay here again. just like camping + a little more. really nice outhouse

This was a beautiful place to stay. Elise and her husband were great hosts and I will definitely be staying here again! Looking out of the skylight was incredible, no northern lights this time, but even just being able to stargaze in a warm bed! All of the blinds drawn it will definitely be perfect in the summertime, it blocks out almost all of the light. The composting toilet was surprising to say the least, it was really clean and got me thinking about additions to our future dry cabin! This is an amazing place to stay to unplug (there is reception though not super strong), relax and enjoy nature. The hosts did an amazing job of making this a priceless moment as we celebrated our angel baby’s coming first birthday. There’s lots of thought in every bit of this place!
