Amazing place , The listing didn’t say it was below someone but besides that 5 stars
As small family we stayed w/ Shemika. We had a challenge due to a major construction project at the house at short notice, which led to problems. However, Shemika was proactive in supporting and compensating, so to be fair this is not included in the rating. Shemika is a lovely host and communicator. Apartment was exactly as described (as suggestion: additional toaster for breakfast would have been nice). Things we disliked: 1) apartment is located in the basement, but very noisy. Unfortunately, you can hear everything from above (as you can read in other reviews too). This was particularly annoying early mornings and evenings. 2) neighbors dogs were leashed in open garden, but were quite aggressive and scared our daughter. 3) Mostly, the (wider) neighboring seemed very unsafe. Also neighbors warned us to be very careful because of homeless/gangs. Overall, Shemika is a great host and has a nice apartment, but unsecured feeling would not bring us back as family next time.
I loved shemika’s home!!!! It was beautiful and cozy for the weekend we stayed . She was very responsive and kept us updated about things I definitely would book again.
