There aren't enough superlatives to describe our stay. From the beautiful gardens leading to the front door to the very well designed and decorated interior, everything was even better than described on the listing. Helen was lovely and very responsive and the special treats for breakfast were delicious. Far and away the best Airbnb accommodation we've had on our vacation.
We had a fantastic stay at Clover Hill Barn Cottage. Helen warmly welcomed us upon our arrival and gave us great suggestions for places to visit. The cottage is beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Helen also provided a delicious selection of breakfast items and homemade blueberry scones. We highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay. Thank you so much Helen.
Helen gave us a friendly welcome and was easy to contact in case we needed to ask anything. We really appreciated the breakfast items and other treats waiting for us in the kitchen. Also the fresh flowers in a vase were a lovely touch. Helen had left clear instructions, and leaflets and maps for the local area. The garden is beautiful and very well kept, also sheltered and quite private. The barn had character, was spotlessly clean and felt very cosy – we had everything we needed. The location in a quiet village was perfect.
What a wonderful find Helen’s place was! We had a lovely weekend in the Mendip hills, lots of great walks around and a fantastic pub in the village - great food. The barn was spacious and luxurious, it was also very cozy and kept us warm on a rather cold weekend. All the amenities you could need are provided and Helen provided a lot of food goods for us which was a lovely touch. The king bed was really comfortable and we slept well in the peace and quiet of the village. I’d highly recommend for a relaxing vacation!
This is a lovely place in summer set to say, it felt so peaceful to be out the way of everything, prefect little place to say and get away from everything, really enjoyed staying here, would 100% recommend!!

My husband Martin and I have lived in Westbury sub Mendip for 30 years. It is a thriving and friendly village with many walks and cycle routes with which we are familiar and would be happy to advise on. We enjoy eating out and would be able to recommend local restaurants and pubs.
