I would highly recommend this location. Aside from occasional Ferry Whistle/alert, the location is very quiet and relaxing. The special touch on arrival with warm fresh bread, granola and jam was such a nice welcome!.

Greg is an incredibly friendly and helpful host; his tips made our time on Mayne Island a real joy. The hospitality was tremendous, the room was comfortable and had a tremendous view of the sunsets over the bay and sound beyond, and the baked goods we were given were simply delicious. I can recommend staying with Greg and Dorothy wholeheartedly.

This is a beautiful storybook-like home (made by hand, by Greg!), situated overlooking a gorgeous, peaceful bay. We were so surprised to walk in and find homemade breads and local jams (delicious!), our hosts really went the extra mile and the place was even more beautiful than it looks online. We loved sitting on our patio morning and night watching all the seals and otters and birds that were active in the bay. Great private beach and kayaks you can use, we went out all day and saw seals and sea lions! Couldn't recommend this place and our hosts enough. Super clean, great comfy bed, such a cool and unique Airbnb with everything you need. Loved it, thank you!!!

We were blown away by the hospitality. We had fresh bread and cookies and a bowl of fresh fruit waiting for us in our room, which was a wonderful surprise because we were hungrier than we realized from traveling to the island early in the morning. The surroundings were breathtaking. The craftsmanship of the villa was outstanding. You could really feel the love that went into building the place. We sat on the balcony and watched the ferries come in and out. It was very peaceful and felt like we were in Italy. Highly recommend.
