A light-filled layout is stylishly appointed for relaxation and features a leafy shared back patio set for alfresco dining. When you’re not out exploring, two separate living areas, central evaporative cooling and a fully-equipped kitchen offer comfort and convenience. Enter this recently updated stay via stairs at the rear of the building, with a hallway leading through to an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Here you'll find all you need to cook and enjoy meals, including a four-seater dining table and a dishwasher for easy clean-up. A back patio is shared with the below business and set with an outdoor table to offer a peaceful, leafy setting for alfresco dining. The inviting living area is carpeted for comfort and includes four cosy armchairs, with central evaporative cooling and radiator wall heating available. Should you wish to settle in with some TV, a second living room near the entrance provides ample seating for a laidback movie night or relaxed entertainment. Two spacious bedrooms each include a queen-size bed accommodating a total of four guests, both thoughtfully appointed with side tables and reading lamps. In the bathroom, you’ll find a shower, bathtub and vanity as well as complimentary toiletries to refresh after a day at the beach. Added conveniences including a washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace. Carport parking is available on the premises, and there is room for a second car in the driveway. And double glazed windows for quite time. **Please note, all linen and towels are provided. Some basic necessities are also provided but those that are not are expected to be purchased by the guest. We have found that guests purchase consumables that build up over time. This system seems to work well. **Guests will not have access to the letterbox. If guests want to receive mail they will need to have it sent to the local post office for pick up.
Very tidy, well equipped apartment. Easy access to the city with the tram out the front, IGA across the road, coffee shops nearby. We would definitely stay again.
I recently stayed at this Airbnb property with my family for 13 days, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The apartment itself was in excellent condition, clean, spacious, and well-equipped for our needs. We loved our lunches in the yard. The hosts Justin and Marie were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The location was perfect, conveniently situated. Justin's place was well positioned, secure, trams out the front so transport not a problem.The carport was undercover,the courtyard was lovely with the trees.The book in was easy.The House was well appointed and ducted air-conditioned throughout The Kitchen and loungerooms are comfortable, Skylights are in the Kitchen,loungeroom,bathroom and 2nd bedroom ( which would not be good if you can't sleep with light)The Bathroom is a bit of a challenge as being short the Bath/ Shower combo was a challenge to get in and out of so not good if you have arthritis or a disability.The Main bedroom did get hot at times as can't open window as no flyscreen. However we did find Justin's place a lovely place to stay.
An IGA supermarket and post office are across the road from the apartment.
Elwood Beach is within a 10-minute drive, where you can take a dip and make use of the BBQ area and scenic walking paths. Little Red Bluff Cafe is a favourite morning stopover for locals, where you can grab a coffee and a toastie before wandering down to the sand and along the boardwalk. Brighton Beach and its historic sea baths are also within a 10-minute drive of your stay, where you can visit the colourful and iconic sea boxes along Dendy Street Beach, or leave the car at home and take advantage of the trams servicing Hawthorn Rd.
Parking: There is carport parking available on the premises, and there is room for a second car in the driveway.
Airport: It takes approximately an hour by car or two hours by public transport to reach the airport.
Public Transport: The 64 tram is just a two-minute walk from the apartment, the 630 bus is a 5-minute walk away, and Ormond Train Station is located 1.8km from the apartment.
