Tremendously warm and hospitable Host, Dan.....made me feel both very appreciated & very welcomed....great for true caffeine hounds, interesting coffee machine with both Kuerigs and a Mr. Coffee type coffee pot...Kuerigs cups, tea bags and hot chocolate on site...for coffee grinds and pot filter there is walkable Bogarts Grocery store, or Hy-Vee around 2.5 miles away. It's like you could just move in and live there forever. Safe to walk and Old Towne with shops and eateries is walkable. Clothing hooks everywhere, great for gals, can sleep four on two different floors, or great for solitary person or couple with no kids. Park on street, or in drive way, with back door fire pit and cooking grill, coal inside for grill. Perfect for longer month long stays also., in my opinion. Includes TV, dvd and VCR player. If you are the "I need ultra modern with all the trendy up-to-the minute updates" type person, may not be your cup of tea, fyi. I, personally LOVED it...cozy, homey practical.

Hosts were super nice, easy to communicate with, and flexible. I like the short easy instructions, no long to-do list! Nice linens, comfy furniture, good coffee machine with a selection of coffees as well as just about any utensils etc you could need. It is a quirky older home, that brought back cozy memories of visits to relatives when I was growing up. It's a quiet, walkable neighborhood, and it is super easy to get from there to everything in town. This is a PERFECT base for crane watching travelers. In other seasons, I see that you could BBQ on a warm evening and enjoy the outdoors. I enjoyed my stay and thank the hosts Dan and Lisa!

House was pretty much as described. Appreciated the coffee maker, clear instructions, and place to stay on our trip to see the sandhill cranes.

By far my favorite spot in Kearney. Dan was really helpful and he came running when I thought I left the water on. Great spot and I will look for it again next time I’m in town for work. Loved it!

This was a very nice little house. Was smaller than we expected but was very clean and nice. We were in Kearney for AAU Youth State Wrestling. This was perfect for us.
