The Ballara is a beautifully curated historical home. My family and I stayed there for just one night while exploring the Yorke Peninsula, and it proved to be the perfect location, offering a stunning site to relax for the night. Upon arrival, we found ourselves wishing we had booked a longer stay. I will definitely have to come back to enjoy more time in this treasure of an Airbnb.

This is such a unique heritage space. Rustic, not fussy, and old school comfortable; the (discreet) outdoor bath and the very private, sweeping backyard overlooking the neighbouring fields and the distant ocean were highlights. Steeped in history, each room has been carefully curated and Steph the host is deeply passionate about the house and is an excellent guide too :) a perfect place for artists / creatives and those looking for something a little different. Highly recommended.

Steph was very helpful - showing us around the AirBnB on arrival and providing plenty of tips on places to visit in the area. The property is lovely with lots of authentic finishing touches and comfortable beds. Thanks so much for having us, we loved our stay!

It’s an amazing house with long history. It seems like everything in this house has a story. We can see the ocean in the backyard. You won't have any worries living here.

Steph was a great host! The place has a lot of warm touches and it was close to scenic places. It was quite and nice view to see the sheep in the morning and galaxy at night. Will highly recommend! :)
