We loved our stay in Kostas’ beautiful villa, which overlooks his family’s vineyard (and which produces a lovely local wine). The house is very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen came well stocked and Kostas was very helpful with local recommendations. A great location to explore a slightly less touristy part of the island, and Kostas’s recommendation to take the ferry from Argostoli ended up being an highlight of the trip. Eve the cat was a hilarious bonus. Thanks for a great stay and hopefully we will one day come back again!

We had an amazing time at Villa Voltera, which is in a perfect location with fantastic views of the mountains and bays! The villa itself was spacious and had more than enough room for the 4 adults in our party. The kitchen was very well stocked, which was really appreciated with our 11pm arrival time! The pool area was superb, loads of sunbeds, seats and loungers. The pool itself was lovely - a really good size and very clean. There were even inflatables that we made good use of! You'll need a car to stay here really, but there is a lot to see and do within just a 10 minute drive on perfectly adequate roads - Xi beach and it's bars / restaurants, Lixouri (and regular ferry service to Argostoli) and much more. The owner Kostas was excellent with his communication via text before and during the stay - he was very helpful and was more than happy to promptly answer any questions and offer advice. He even stayed close to midnight to make sure we got checked in alright. He also assisted us in traveling to the property (top tip - take the ferry!) and recommended many things to do and places to eat - all of which were great recommendations. We're counting down the days until we can return to Villa Voltera!

Outstanding! A lovely villa made very special by the view from the pool and terrace. A lovely quiet location but easy to get anywhere on the island. Plenty of good restaurants and beach bars within a 5-10 minute drive but BBQing on the terrace was a highlight. Supermarket within 5mins drive. Kostas was an excellent host and very helpful before and throughout our stay. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We finally made it!! We came to Kefalonia for our wedding and the amazing Villa Voltera was where we spent the first few days of our trip. Our wedding, and therefore our booking with Kostas had to be moved 3 times due to covid - every move was seamless - Kostas is amazing at communicating quickly and efficiently. When we arrived at the villa - wow it was AMAZING. Kostas had provided lots of lovely breakfast items and a bottle of wine from his vineyard - such a great touch. The villa itself was spotless and the views are incredible. The pool was cleaned daily and was a perfect temperature. The area is very peaceful and there are lots of fruit trees in the garden which you can help yourselves to. Throughout our stay Kostas checked in regularly via WhatsApp - I would HIGHLY recommend you follow his restaurant suggestions, they are still the best meals we have eaten on the island so far. We cannot wait to return to the amazing Villa Voltera and we will be telling all our friends to book!! Thank you Kostas :)
