This was a crazy stay in Bahu, Jibhi.. We loved everything about this stay, the view here was amazing and wide that we couldn't stop coming out to see it from the balcony.. It's extremely safe place and the caretakers are very responsive and friendly. Our host Shanu was assistive and the owner Khem Verma family was very very sweet, his wife Suman didi always helped us doing the Bonfire and she was very helpful in cleaning the rooms when needed, Suresh our caretaker was the star there, he was there whenever needed, he cooked fingerlicking delicious foods all the time and one should visit this place for the excellent view, amazing food, amazing interiors, beautiful lights, and the entire private offbeat location of this stay. We were lucky to even see snowfall when we there. Totally amazing experience and it's worth it. Bathroom pic is not added in the app but it's located down to the stay which is not that difficult to use. Kudos to Suresh, Khem, Suman Didi, and everyone for this place.
Everything was perfect , clean household. No issues at any point of your stay. Food was also really tasty. It’s a little out of the way but definitely worth it
BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE! A hidden gem is all what I can say. This is my second time staying in bahu which is away from the hustle bustle of jibhi , not too far 15 min drive. The walk from the road is 5-7 mins. Loved the overall experience , the washroom is down from the balcony didn't trouble me at all made part of the experience. Khem Verma's family cooked amazing home cooked meals , had authentic himachali siddu and local mutton , and experienced the raw himachali culture with his family. Good mobile connectivity, wifi and power backup was able to work without any disruptions. spotted endless amazing stars and milky way. The host was responsive and gave me a discount as it's my second time booking. Perfect destination for workation it's peaceful and there's a lot to explore.
I hadn't heard about Bahu, a tiny village above Jibhi, until recently. But we really liked our stay at this fairytale treehouse in Bahu. The traditional Himachali food cooked by Khem Verma was delicious. We especially liked the Siddu and Mutton curry. The balcony is huge and the view from here is exceptionally good. This is probably the most spacious treehouse in the town. We'd very much like to come again.
We really liked our stay at this Fairytale treehouse. It's in Bahu, which is prettier than all the villages near Jibhi. We loved our time at the treehouse. Everything here was neat and tidy. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful interiors and the comfortable bed to the view. Khem took good care of us. The view is breathtaking. I think everybody should stay in Bahu, which is close enough to Jibhi, but far from the maddening crowd.
★Bus: Most of our guests come here by taking a bus from Delhi to Manali, and getting down at the AUT market. If you are coming by bus, go through the AUT tunnel, get down at the AUT Market, and then take a taxi to Bhua or a bus to Banjar, and then a bus to Jibhi, and then a taxi to Bhua. There maybe (rarely) direct buses to Jibhi.
★Car: If you are coming from Delhi, you will be passing through Chandigarh, Bilaspur and Mandi before you reach the AUT tunnel. The AUT tunnel is about 6 hours far from Chandigarh. If you are coming in your own car, you don't have to enter the tunnel. Just drive straight to Banjar, and then to Jibhi. From Jibhi, there is a road going up to Bhua. Just call us when you reach Jibhi. We'll instruct you how to go up.
★Air: The nearest airport is in Bhuntar, about 68 kilometers away.
★Rail: The nearest railway station is in Shimla, about 160 kilometer away. It takes a 7 hour drive to reach Jibhi, from Shimla. Buses take you here in 7-8 hours. Take a bus from Shimla to Manali. Get down at AUT and come to Bhua in a taxi.
