During summer, the local recreation area at the Issinger Weiher with a swimming pond and high ropes course, just a few minutes' drive from the apartment, is a lovely destination. Cycling and mountain bike tours, hikes and mountain tours also start right in front of the apartment.
In winter, the largest ski area in South Tyrol, Kronplatz, and the famous Val Badia with Alta Badia are ideal for skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing. Thanks to the excellent bus and train connections to the Eisack and Pustertal valleys, you can also enjoy your vacation without a car.

The apartment is situated in a central position in the small village of Kiens. A mini market is located approx. 150 meters below the house. A bakery with café, butcher's shop, pharmacy and an inn with pizzeria are approx. 250 meters away. The village church is 300 meters above the house and the tennis courts are another 100 meters away.
The Issinger Weiher recreation area with bathing lake, café, restaurant and high ropes course is only 1.3 km away and can be reached by car in less than 5 minutes. The renowned family business "Bergila" with high-quality and organic natural products is also located here. A guided tour of the garden and distillery is definitely worth a visit!
The picturesque town of Bruneck is 10 km away and can be easily reached by car or bike. The ski lifts for the Kronplatz are located above Bruneck in Reichach, 13 km away. Here you can rent a locker in the ski depot in winter, so you don't have to carry your ski equipment back and forth every day.
