This two storey Lockwood holiday home is ideal for couples, families or businesses who want a central location to enjoy all that the Bay has to offer. 15 minutes to Rotorua for all those key attractions, 10 mins to Lake Rotoiti, 45 minutes to Papamoa Beach. 10 minutes to Ngongotaha for famous trout fishing streams and 30 minutes to Tauriko Shopping Mall, Tauranga…..or just stay and play at Lake View Haven at Hamurana which is positioned directly across the road from the lake and reserve - a gateway to walking, bike tracks, great fishing, the famous Hamurana Springs, boat ramp, golf course, white water rafting and many other outdoor water activities. Bedroom configuration - Upstairs there is a spacious master bedroom retreat looking directly out to the Hamurana hills – this suite has a private tv / office nook overlooking Lake Rotorua and surrounds. Separated from the living areas downstairs the two cosy bedrooms share the main bathroom. Enjoy the sunny open plan living with lounge / dining and outdoor entertainment - perfect for those relaxing summer bbqs. The kitchen overlooks the lake, large front lawn, garden and walking track (so washing up is a treat) – perfect to watch the kids playing or those out enjoying the sights of Hamurana. The dining area has an outdoor nook for your morning coffee while absorbing the morning sun and lake views. This property is filled with comfortable furniture, beds and all the essentials you will need while on holiday. Relax or have an action packed holiday – your choice! The house was amazing, just as described and more, very homely, spacious for our family of 6 adults, the rooms were perfect size and fit. The upstairs master bedroom and area, incredible, I felt very pampered. The location was outstanding overlooking the lake although it rained for most of our stay we still got to enjoy the beautiful scenery on our first day. Location was perfect, nice and secluded but not too far away. Shops were close by if needed. Only regret, stay was too short another couple of days would have been ideal, and not being at the house long enough to enjoy its beauty, or sit outside over looking the lake with a couple of quiet drinks watching the sun set, we had a busy itinerary so we would leave early and return late at night just in time to eat, shower and bed. For anyone looking for accommodation with a large family this is definitely a must, we will be returning for sure. Kiwi family of 6 from Western Australia
