Propr's place was nothing short of amazing for us. Everything from checkin to checkout was seamless. Location and view of Lion's Head, proximity to everything was amazing for us. Parking, access to downtown and resturants was fantastic. At on point in time did anyone of us feel unsafe, a major factor when traveling with my wife and adult daughter. Propr, thank you for allowing us to experience staying at your place, it truly was amazing for us!
We had a pleasant stay but on arrival we had to ring a couple of times before the owner himself (nice guy) reached out to the managers. The manager arrived half an hour later talking about another entrance which was not described before. He was pleasant though. The place was still being cleaned when we got there!! View was more side on but beautiful. The place seems run down and needs maintenance/upkeep. Most of the decor pieces are dated and the window in the main room would not closing fully, managing agent was notified. This was not great given the South Easterly was blowing hard and made it difficult to sleep peacefully or warm! When we were out and returned, we came back to a noticeable musty old smell prob from thick curtains/fabric furniture and carpets. The kettle needs replacing and the pots/pans a proper clean as these had oily residue. Some of the condiments were expired too. Overall it served its purpose in the area but prob could have more modern place for the same price.

Bantry Bay is beautiful, the condo is special. The office was helpful with an early check in, Taryn was very helpful. Kitchen is well stocked. The master bedroom lights didn’t work. Bring your own SA adapters for your electrical appliances. The 2nd bathroom shower grouting has several areas of mildew and should be repaired. The carpets are old and stained. Felt very safe and secure in the building.

Should you not hire a car - avoiding the hassles of parking - Uber is readily available, affordable and a safe way to travel within the City, especially once the sun has set and the buzz of the nightlife begins. Uber will always be any Capetonian's first recommendation of travel in and around the city.
Within the popular MyCiti bus route, a reliable bus service with routes taking you to and from the City Centre out to other routes going to the V&A Waterfront, Clifton & Camps Bay beaches, as well as Hout Bay fishing village and many more.
Explore the Mother City with City Sightseeing Tours. Hop onto their open-top red bus and explore the Mother City, as she is affectionately known. With over 30 stops, and taking you to over 50 of Cape Town’s top attractions, the bus allows you to hop-on and hop-off at your leisure.
If you do not have a car, Uber regularly services the area and is a great, economical and reliable way of getting around.
There is also the MyCiti Bus Stops which service the area regularly.
Should you prefer a 5 minute walk, Saunders Rock tidal pool is a major attraction to swim on those hot summer days.
