The farmhouse is in a beautiful place. As much as I loved the inside,I loved the outside more. Yvonne set us up with a coffee bar, snacks and fresh breakfast items. Very thoughtful. I was thankful to have found a place that would allow our dog. We also loved the horses that came to visit
From our initial booking, to our check out, Yvonne was extremely responsive, helpful and beyond pleasant to interact with. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a pristine clean house, goodies on the kitchen table, a fully stocked kitchen, expertly made beds, and wonderful touches all over the house. I was extremely impressed with all the amenities that were provided for us. Yvonne definitely goes above and beyond to create a very comfortable environment. Our family of 5, plus 1 puppy, had more than enough space to lounge, watch TV, and just hang out. Our dog loved the surround grassy areas. It was very peaceful and serene. We were greeted by 2 mules that live on the adjacent property. My kids were excited to see them. Overall, I give her 5 stars for everything from communication, to cleanliness, to accuracy of accommodations. Thank you for opening up your home to us!
Yvonne is a wonderful host and very responsive to any messages we sent throughout the weekend. Home is in an ideal location. Great fire pit and yard in the back.
The place was exactly as advertised!
Beautiful area! The house was perfect! Everything was nice and clean and had basically everything you need! The house is not too far from grocery stores or gas stations or even any activities you want to do. We were also greeted by some mules that lived next door on our last day so overall our weekend was great!

I am originally from Kernersville, NC. I received my Undergraduate and Graduate degree in Spanish Education from ASU and decided to live in the beautiful High Country! I retired from teaching 30 years of High School Spanish at Watauga High School. I am now a Real Estate Broker with A Plus Realty . My husband and I own some rental properties in Boone and opened our first Airbnb listing with our recently remodeled farmhouse built in 1860 - "Our Nest"! We are now excited to open our second Airbnb-"Nestle Cottage." I also am a manager of a digital greeting card company. On the back of my greeting cards, I use the quote : "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." - Maya Angelou So, I hope that in someway, your family, friends or loved ones will never forget how "Our Nest" or "Nestle Cottage" made you feel.
