A perfect off-grid experience at Aurora Lookout, one of two breathtaking tiny homes set on 110 acres on Australia's Mid North Coast, home to pristine surf beaches, rainforest, waterfalls, and farmland. It is an all-year-round destination with sweeping 180-degree views of the Yarranbella Valley stretching right out to the ocean. Welcome to Aurora Lookout, meaning sunrise, is named after its high elevation and proximity to the most easterly point in Australia. This estate comprises of two houses, with "Aurora Summit" situated at a higher elevation than the other—boasting spectacular views of the coast and provides the ultimate pleasure of waking up to the sunrise here. Every morning, you can experience the breathtaking view of the sunrise and be one of the first people in Australia to witness it. Located in the rural hamlet of Yarranbella, the towns Bowraville and Macksville are both within a 10-20minute drive from the property. You are only a short trip from some of the best attractions the Mid North Coast has to offer such as the Muttonbird Island, Urunga Boardwalk, Bellingen, Coffs Harbour Butterfly House , Valla Beach and Rotary Lookout. It has easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. If you plan to spend your tiny house NSW retreats here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. As there is no local rubbish collection service you will be required to take your rubbish with you. Thank you. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be other guests on the property—where a second tiny house sits on the same property,100m apart. One is lower than the other one so the cabins cannot see each other but they are only a 2minute walk away. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

this tiny home was brilliant! it was very clean and very new. the location was also very private with little noise or light pollution from neighbours. hot showers and air con if you need these creature comforts. highly recommend and we are alrdy looking to come back !
Great location and great hosts
Secluded and quiet. Dingos calling to each other on the first night. Stars galore. Glamping with well designed interior. Sit back and watch the fog roll in between the hills in the the evening.
An incredible location, the sunrise is the morning is well with the wake up, the clouds were just below us in the morning and the sun came and poked through the clouds giving us the feeling we were floating on an island. Sensational.
An amazing little getaway that felt like our own private slice of paradise. My wife and I stayed for a night and couldn't get over how peaceful the place was. We loved lazing our evening away in the hammocks and taking in the view. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We will definitely be back!

Aurora Lookout is situated in the tranquil town of Yarranbella, Bowraville and Macksville are both within a 16-27 minute drive from the property.
Visit Scotts Head, Nambucca Heads, Urunga, Crescent Head, and Bellingen along the Mid-North Coast's most beautiful coastal towns.

- Urunga Boardwalk takes you along the river for several hundred metres before taking you out to the sea to see birds flying overhead.
- Coffs Harbour Butterfly House offers visitors the opportunity to stroll amongst hundreds of live Australian butterflies in an indoor subtropical rainforest setting.
- Rotary Lookout offers panoramic views over Twofold Bay and land-based whale-watching locations on New South Wales' Sapphire Coast and Eden's Sapphire Coast.

- The Bridge River St. is a lovely restaurant in Macksville, situated along the river with old-style booth seating, great meals, coffee, and chai lattes.
- Ben and Lenny's veteran-owned and operated coastal takeaway shop offers charcoal-roasted chickens, classic burgers, and the thickest shake on the Mid-North Coast.
By car:
- 5.5 hours drive from Sydney
- 3.5 hours drive from Newcastle
- 1 hour drive from Coffs Harbour
At most times a 2WD is fine unless during extreme rain events. Sports cars or anything with low clearance will not be appropriate as there are water bars on the unsealed roads.
By public transport:
We would like to advise guests to travel by private vehicle as there are no public transports available directly to our property, and most unlikely for them to get a taxi.
