Ad mentioned entire home and we moved in on Easter Sunday and there was a large suburban in the driveway and food in the fridge and freezer. He texted my personal cell phone as we were making multiple trips to move in and stated his brother and friend live in the basement which was deceptive since his ad listed the "entire home". My plan was to put my pets in the basement and not share a home with strangers. The host was notified and claimed the food left behind was his and he also did not have working TVs but dropped off an antenna on the front porch for me to install. The host and AIRBNB were immediately notified the ad was deceptive and we wanted to withdraw from our planned six week stay and get a refund. The host went back and forth with my placement agency for over five days before agreeing to provide a refund for the next five weeks. He works in real estate and knows what he did and claimed this was a new experience for him. I would not trust him as a host.
