Daniel was super accommodating to our odd check in time and provided everything we needed for our stay - including vegan milk! For visitors to the ExCel this is a perfect location and host.

I stayed in this flat for 12 weeks during the summer whilst I was on a course in shoreditch. The flat itself is nice, Dan is a good host and his communication is great and always there to help out when you need him. The location in terms of where it is in London is good, only 15 minutes on the tube to London Bridge and 25 minutes on the tube to Waterloo which is handy. I have to be be honest in the review though and give people a heads up that if you’re looking for a decent nights rest you are very unlikely to get it at this location due to the fact that there is a massive construction site about 10 metres from the window. They start work at 8AM but are often out moving the trucks and tools about preparing for the day ahead way before that, sometimes as early as 06:30. The flat is situated on a busy and very lively road and there’s a lot of very loud cars and HGV’s racing past all night not to mention people shouting and screaming, making it incredibly hard to stay asleep, I don’t think I had one night in my whole time there where my sleep wasn’t broken. So, if you’re a night owl that likes a lie in, you are doing shift work on the nights or if you are planning to stay for longer than a few days then I suggest finding somewhere else, if not then this flat is fine- can’t say it’s the best value for money though I paid nearly £5000 for just 12 weeks, it’s very small and the block it’s in is quite dodgy, someone was arrested for drugs whilst I was there and there was a few times when there was people trying to force entry into the block pretending to be from the NHS so if you do stay then keep your whits about you and don’t leave doors unlocked, it is east London after all and Canning Town is quite rough. All this takes nothing away from Dan as a person though, he himself is a good host I just have to be honest in my reviews and make sure everyone after me knows exactly what the stay will be like.

Daniel’s place was perfect for a quick overnight stay while in London. Nice and close to the tube station too. Daniel was really quick with communication and very kindly allowed us to check in early as we had plans in London which was really helpful. Slept really well too.
