House is on Mangrove Cay, Andros. 20 yards from the shallow turquoise waters. Located one mile off the 3rd largest reef in the world. Snorkel and fish from the shore. Walk the quiet & secluded beach. Listen to the wind blow from the soft bermuda grass on large front lawn. Starlinlk & Direct TV provided. Walk to airport from house, no car needed. Bicycles, paddleboards, and 2 person kayak provided. Bonefishing off the beach. Local fishing guides are caretakers of house. 2 bedroom house sitting on 2 acre lot. House is 20 yards from sandy beach. 150ft of beach line property. Upstairs bedroom has king size bed and trundle bed with pullout. Downstairs bedroom has queen bed. Futon bed in livingroom. Large livingroom with lots of natural light. Snorkel blue holes off the beach about 200 yards away. 1 mile off the coral reef and lots of marine life everywhere. Daily flights on LeAir or FlamingoAir via Nassau, both airlines have morning or afternoon flights twice a day. MakersAir out of Fort Lauderdale executive airport flies to South Andros (Congotown) and you can take daily ferry at 8am or 5pm to South Andros. Local convinence and liquor stores are walkable or bike ride away. A few night clubs and conch tiki bars not far away. Very friendly island with fun local residents. Outdoor shower on patio. All rooms offer air conditioning as needed.

We loved Scott’s place! We were after ‘off the beaten path’ and this beautiful place is just that. Scott was super responsive and helpful with our many questions prior to our trip. He arranged for our 4 days of fishing with the awesome Shorne and Randy was always there for us too! The locals were all amazing and super welcoming. We biked and paddled , snorkelled and fished and we hope we can return again soon! Loved this place and Andros !
I'd like to say horrible things so no one else rents this and I can go back whenever I want but truth is this is a great spot on the planet and was a perfect place to take my boys. For the fisherman, this is a wonderful location for some of the best bonefishing in the world. I saw a legit double digit bone on the flat that is a few hundred yards north of the house. My kid caught a barracuda that is the same size as him. The neighbors were super friendly. Some random 11 year old showed up and quickly became best friends with my 11 year old. The people on Mangrove Cay are super friendly. If you want something a little off the beaten path, this is the place. The Bahamas are very costly, so plan accordingly. A can of coke was $2.50 at the grocery store, expect at least $20 a plate if you eat out (and do the food at the places we ate was fresh and great). But we brought a cooler of food and prepared our own breakfast and lunches and then biked to one of the restaurants for dinner.
We loved this place. Secluded but conveniently located. Scott and caretaker Randy were super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The neighbors were also very friendly and helpful with anything we had questions about. The yard/beach area were great! They had bikes, Kayaks, paddle boards, direct TV…. There is a Keurig coffee maker but we couldn’t find the k-cups anywhere on the island so coffee drinkers might want to bring some. Kitchen was well equipped with everything one needs and the AC will cool it right down. We will be looking forward to our next stay at Tranquility Blue!
