Refurbished in 2019 and now family-run, we hope that we can provide you with the warmest Italian hospitality. In honour of my beloved 'nonna', we named this apartment after her, who lived here her whole life. In the mid-1800s, this property belonged to the municipal secretary of Furore, Salvatore Pisacane, a cousin of Carlo Pisacane: an Italian patriot and revolutionary. The buildings of Don Salvatore were famously elegant, fashioned in classical architectural style. Apartment Casa Caterina Entered through a picturesque inner courtyard with views of Capo di Conca and Praiano, Domus Caterina comprises three apartments (Casa Caterina, Casa dei Limoni, and Antica Cisterna). Apartment Casa Caterina boasts a balcony with a sea view that can be enjoyed just 6ft from your king-size bed, allowing you to absorb to your heart’s content the great expanse of the Mediterranean Sea. Features include air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a private bathroom (with shower, bidet, toiletries, hair-dryer, etc.), and a kitchen equipped with a fridge, stovetop cooker, dishwasher, and kitchenware. Towels and bed linens are provided. Free parking is available on request.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par le père de l’hôte. Il a été très sympathique et nous a aidé pour le stationnement et nous installer. Emplacement central, près du bus. L’hôte nous a référé à des restaurants dans les environs. Nous avons adoré Agriturisme del Alfonso et La Baita. Nous reviendrions sans hésitation!!!
Quel plaisir d'avoir découvert la casa Caterina !!! Un appartement très cozy, propre et joliment décoré avec goût. On s'y sent comme à la maison ! Le logement est très bien équipé, la buanderie est très pratique. Nous avons été accueilli avec un petit panier garni de pâtes, sauce tomates, huile, biscottes, confitures, citrons frais de la maison, bouteilles d'eau. Les parents de Caterina sont adorables, accueil chaleureux et disponibles pendant le séjour, c'était agréable de les côtoyer au quotidien même en italien ! Le logement est très bien situé, entre Amalfi et Positano. Furore est un joli village pittoresque, on y trouve des restaurants, épiceries, céramiques, vins... Nous avons pu profiter pleinement des deux terrasses de la casa Caterina, l'une vue sur mer, et l'autre devant l'entrée qui est extrêmement spatieuse avec vue mer également, store, table, citronnier, on ne s'en lasse pas ! Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour sur la côte Amalfitaine. Merci Caterina !!!
very communicative hosts, clean, great apartment with a parking spot and a great view! plus very close to the start of sentiero degli dei (which was great for me). would recommend and stay there again!
Caterina et ses parents Angela et Pietro forment une équipe d'exception. Ils ont été des hôtes tout simplement parfaits ! Le logement était beau, très propre et confortable. Un jolie panier avec des pâtes, tomates en conserve, biscottes et confitures de même qu'une petite bouteille de Prosecco nous attendaient. Belle attention de la part de nos hôtes que nous avons très appréciée. Nous recommandons Domus Caterina sans réserve !

Upon setting foot in Furore,'il Paese Dipinto'/'the Painted Village', one can quickly understand why it is featured in countless films, including the Italian classic 'L'Amore' with Anna Magnani, and how it earned its UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
For a quiet village of 750 people, Furore has a lot to offer besides spectacular views. At a short distance from the apartment you can find: hostaria/restaurant Bacco Furore (5 minutes walk away), Cantine di Marisa Cuomo (for authentic world-renowned local wine) 5 minutes walk, Agriturismo Sant'Alfonso (6 minutes walking), Luca's Furore Restaurant/Pizzeria-Bar (9 minutes walk), Bianca Zita Restaurant, Relish Lounge Bar & Restaurant (13 minutes walk), Agriturismo da Serafina, L'Incanto, Pizzeria La Selva, and so on.
Apartment Casa Caterina is 1.6 km from the Fjord of Furore Beach. Amalfi Cathedral is 10 km from the accommodation, whilst Amalfi Harbour is 11 km away.
The nearest airport is Naples International which is 52 km (just over an hour’s drive) from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service to be booked in advance. A car or scooter rental service is available at the apartment.
At about 1km (10 minutes walking), you will find a small supermarket (next to Luca's Pizzeria/Restaurant) where you can buy your essentials and local products.
The closest bus stop is a 1-minute walk from the apartment.
Suppose you would like to do a bigger shopping. In that case, you can either go to the minimarket 'La Borsa dei Sapori' in Furore (6-7 minutes by car) or you can go to Agerola where there will be plenty of supermarkets and independent shops (9 minutes driving). Furore also has a pharmacy, post office, and a bar (6 minutes drive from the apartment).
Furore has a lot to offer, such as Giardino della Pellerina, 'La Passeggiata dell'Amore', Cantine di Marisa Cuomo, Fiordo di Furore, Chiesa di San Michele (all reachable on foot), but to fully experience the Amalfi Coast, we recommend renting a small car or scooter to get around.
