Noise level as I am a light sleeper was quiet. No street or building noises at all. Air quality was also good, no allergy problems, from dust or molds. Cleaning levels was excellent. Neighborhood has place for breakfast, on the block. Wall art was well done. Mattress was a decent memory foam and not too soft. Would stay again.

My thanks to Cesar for this wonderful stay. As a solo female traveller this was a great option: the central neighbourhood felt safe, as did the building. The location was really good; I could walk to and from places very easily or get the subway, and there were lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment itself was really clean and had everything you could need; I slept very well. It was also quiet - I could occasionally hear other residents but nothing noisy enough to disrupt sleep; it definitely felt like a private space. Cesar was also a kind and communicative host who was very easy to contact and talk to if needed.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Apartment. Wir haben New York für eine Woche erkundet und dafür war das Airbnb perfekt. Zentral zwischen den vielen Touri-Spots gelegen, haben wir alles einfach mit der Metro erreichen können. Das Airbnb ist sauber und sieht wie auf den Bildern aus. Es sind bereits viele Kleinigkeiten wie Shampoo, Conditioner, Duschgel, Kaffeepulver und -Filter oder Regenschirme vorhanden. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, vom Verkehr hört man nichts, da das Fenster in einen Hinterhof rausgeht. Lediglich einzelne Rohre gluckern in der Nacht oder man hört Geräusche aus Nachbarwohnungen über die Lüftung im Bad. Die Gegend erschien uns schon sehr sicher, wir hatten nie ein ungutes Gefühl (das wurde in einer anderen Rezension mal erwähnt). Cesar antwortete auf die einzige kleine Nachfrage die wir hatten schnell und freundlich.

WOW! Cesar's place is so clean, so tidy, and super cozy. It was warm, had an extra heater, and the bed was super comfortable. I was only there for one night but wish I could have stayed for longer to check out the East Village neighborhood. Cesar's place is very convenient to subways, and is very walkable to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and neighborhoods (like Greenwich Village). Cesar was super sweet to accommodate my last minute request to check out late, it made such a positive difference in my day. Cesar is very communicative, easy to get in touch with, and very very friendly. Highly recommend!
