We loved visiting Costacciaro and recommend it for anyone who wants to be a bit away from the hustle It is a quaint village in a lovely setting, easily reachable from Rome or the north, and as Gabriella states, a great base for discovering Umbria. We visited the gorgeous caves, went truffle hunting and then on to the medieval towns of Trevi & Orveitto
