Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. Lovely, small cottage at rear of our property. Separate entrance with own carport. We take great pride in our native garden and fruit trees. Outdoor porch with sitting area. Light breakfast provided with cereals and fresh fruit, milk, tea/coffee. Kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, coffee pod machine, toaster, electric skillet, small induction cooktop and pots, sandwich press and full range of crockery/utensils. Air-conditioner plus ceiling fan. Compact, self-contained cottage. Very comfortable queen bed. Small dining and lounge area. Practical kitchenette and modern bathroom. Smart TV with Netflix. Range of recent magazines, travel books and local info. French doors open to pleasant patio area with relaxing chairs.

Beautiful cottage in Mount Eliza, about 8 min drive the Mornington main streets and 30 minutes from the Hot Springs. We loved our stay, very private and tranquil. John & Julie was very thoughtful with the personal touches for guests.
John and Julie were awesome hosts and it is a great place. The little touches in the accommodation were well thought out and made the stay more pleasant than staying at a hotel. Thanks for hosting us! 😊
Really great place, very comfortable and John had thought of everything even down to a picnic blanket and hamper to use. Last three nights of our stay in Australia and woke up with bright sun, blue sky and a view over johns lovely garden. Perfect
John and Julie were most considerate and helpful hosts. Accommodation was Spotlessly clean and most comfortable. I really appreciated the attention to detail and provision of a welcome pack. John kindly offered a lift as I didn’t have a car.. you won’t be disappointed with a visit to this home in Mt Eliza..

Quiet part of Mount Eliza, away from busy roads. A short drive to shops and beach. Nearby Corner Pantry Cafe and Tully's store/cafe.
We strongly recommend guests have a car.
Some guests use taxi/Uber to get around.
Note it is 1km walk to nearest bus stop.
Nearest train station is Frankston, 10km away.

My wife Julie and I have lived on the Mornington Peninsula for over 30 years and love what it has to offer. We are keen bushwalkers and I like to scuba dive. We love our native garden and can spend hours pampering the plants. We also have a range of vegies and fruit trees. I enjoy my piano and we both love reading. Our children are spread over the nation and even in Switzerland so we often book Airbnb ourselves!
