Small, newly renovated, thatched holiday terraced house in Seedorf/ Kuhlenbrook in the middle of a nature reserve between two natural swimming lakes and south of Lake Plön. Sit back and relax - in this quiet, stylish accommodation. The beautiful, well-equipped thatched house, the terrace with the small garden, the wide view over the pastures (cows included), the forests with beautiful hiking trails on foot or by bike, nestled in "Holsteinische Schweiz". In the living room you can enjoy your breakfast at the cosy dining table, with a view of the 3 geese opposite, in the morning sun or have a quick coffee at the kitchen island. From the table or the sofa you can watch TV on the HD TV. Don't forget your login details for Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+ etc.). The sofa is a sofa bed and comfortably accommodates 1-2 additional (registered only!) visitors. For entertainment there are magazines, books and games. The cast-iron fireplace is at your free disposal. There is a one-off charge of €15 for wood, kindling and lighting materials In the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking. Electric cooker, dishwasher, oven, large fridge-freezer... For coffee lovers, there is a French press, espresso pot and capsule coffee machine. Kettle and toaster, waffle iron and blender, juicer and smoothie maker complete the equipment for a nice holiday breakfast. The bathroom is small but nice. Here you will find a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a top-loading washing machine. The cosy country house stairs lead up to the bedroom under the thatched roof with a beautiful view over the pastures and meadows. Here you will find 2 single beds (90x200cm), which we are happy to push together to form a double bed if you wish (see photos). Behind the house is a wonderfully enclosed sun terrace with a large table, a garden bench and 2 folding chairs with a view across the pasture into the nature reserve. In the neighbouring shed there are more sun loungers and another electric barbecue. The sunsets here are spectacular - and even more beautiful with a good glass of wine!

Unsere Zeit bei Guido und Thorsten war genau so, wie wir es uns erhofft hatten. Eine super gemütliche Unterkunft mit allem, was man braucht und dabei fühlt es sich an, als sei man bei jemandem Zuhause zu Besuch. Sehr persönlich, dabei diskret und Ur-gemütlich - 100% weiter zu empfehlen.
So ein schönes Höuschen. Wir waren total begeistert!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Guido und Thorsten waren sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber und wir konnten vom Haus schnell sowohl zu den Plöner Seen als auch zur Ostsee fahren. Das Haus bietet alles, was man sich wünscht - die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, der Kamin bot uns eine tolle Atmosphäre und die Einrichtung war wirklich liebevoll, alles in Allem waren wir sehr angetan vom kleinen Reethus :)

The area around our thatched house is agricultural. There are farms in the near neighbourhood that are still being farmed. From the garden you can watch cows grazing, and there are also sheep and horses in the vicinity.
If you take a walk along the field and forest paths, it is not uncommon to encounter deer, wild boar and various forest creatures. Birdwatchers will also get their money's worth here. Various bird species such as cranes, geese, etc. find their quarters here, and kites and eagles also breed near the lakes.
Day trips to the lakes of "Holsteinische Schweiz" and city trips to Eutin, Plön, Lübeck or Hamburg are easily possible from here. Furthermore, the beaches of the Baltic Sea can be reached in 20 - 30 minutes by car.

Wir sind Guido und Thorsten mit unserem Hund Oli aus Hamburg. Anfang 2023 haben wir das kleine Reethus erworben und seit dem liebevoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Damit haben wir für uns einen ganz besonderen Ort in einer besonderen Gegend geschaffen, den wir gerne mit euch teilen möchten ;)
