Situated in the heart of Lympstone, an idyllic fishing village on the Exe Estuary, fantastic floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of this reverse-level property’s waterside location. Perfect for outdoor adventurers, this house has an undercover bike store and storage space for canoes and paddleboards under the decking, and an undeniably useful utility room for wet gear. With two glass-fronted balconies, you can take in the ever-changing scenery across the water, sipping a morning coffee in the sunshine and enjoying the stunning sunsets in the evening. Attention to detail and beautiful finishes complement contemporary design, with the light and airy open-plan living space boasting a vaulted ceiling and fabulous water views. On warm days open the west-facing bi-fold doors from the dining area, and on chilly evenings, relax on the inviting sofas in the lounge in front of the warming wood burner-effect fire, the perfect place to be after a busy day exploring. Two beautiful bedrooms are a delight to wake up in and gathering on the decked area to share an al fresco breakfast is a great way to start the day - soaking up the fabulous scenery and listening to the early birdsong. The Exe Estuary Cycle Trail, linking Exmouth with the historic village of Topsham, passes the front door. Splash along sandy Exmouth Beach (3.5 miles) and continue the coastal walk to Orcombe Point, worth it for the fantastic views. Visit Powderham Castle (12 miles) and Killerton House, (12 miles) for walks through beautiful parkland, whilst Dartmoor National Park (32 miles) has wild, open moorlands and deep river valleys just waiting to be explored. The kids will love Crealy Adventure Park (7 miles) and the high ropes at Go Ape Haldon (13.5 miles).
