Beautiful 4BR Mauna Kea Home w/Pool, Ocean Views! Ultra luxurious estate in a prime location at the world-famous Mauna Kea Beach Resort. Fairways South 16 is an expansive resort property that offers panoramic ocean views, a large pool deck and a spacious backyard in a secluded setting near the Big Island's best beaches and amenities. Located on a bluff above the award-winning Mauna Kea Golf Course, this spectacular Hawaiian vacation home offers over 4,800 square feet of interior living space spread across two levels with thousands of additional square feet of exterior living space comprised of private lanais, outdoor bathrooms (3), balconies, and a spacious pool deck. Fairways South 16 offers guests four beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, with two ocean-facing master bedrooms and two garden view guest bedrooms with their own private entrances, as well as both indoor and outdoor bathtubs and showers. Upon entering Fairways South 16, you will be ushered down a long driveway that provides complete privacy and soundproofing from the road. With ample parking for up to 4 cars, a glass door beckons you to enter the courtyard, leading to the upper level of the home and the two private guest rooms. The architecture of the home extends parallel to the coastline to capture the unobstructed ocean view from every room of the main house (no rooftops). The upstairs living and dining room feature wrap-around glass sliding doors - allowing the entire space to be ventilated by the gentle Hawaiian breeze, while also offering central air conditioning, TV/Sonos system, a card table, formal dining for 10, a large chef's kitchen, and an outdoor BBQ. There is a laundry room and powder bathroom accessible from the kitchen. The southern end of the upper level features the ocean-facing master bedroom with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, large balcony, private bathroom with dual indoor showers, an outdoor bathtub and an outdoor shower. Also on the upper level are two guest bedrooms, each with their own private entrance and outdoor bathing option. One guest room features a king-size bed, outdoor bathtub, en suite bathroom and an outdoor shower. The other large guest room features two queen-sized beds, a private lanai, en suite bathroom, and an outdoor shower. Nearly the entire lower level of the home is designed with entertainment in mind. Boasting a 60-foot lap pool, Jacuzzi, an expansive shaded lanai, a billards room, an outdoor tiki bar, a media/games room (foosball, ping pong & boardgames), and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. There is another master bedroom on the lower level with a king-size bed, en suite bathroom with bathtub, seating area, walk-out access to the pool and Jacuzzi and those endless ocean views. Guests of Fairways South 16 will enjoy an abundance of space to play, lounge, swim, eat, relax, and unwind with their loved ones. Additionally, guests have the option to purchase resort access to the hotel facilities at both the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Beach Hotels for $240/day in 2024 (2025 rates have yet TBD & are subject to change) + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to three hotel pools, use of towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas on two of Hawaii's best beaches, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotels. Starting April 2024, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be undergoing a major renovation. The hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections which may, at times, cause interruptions to golf, tennis and hotel services. Please contact the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel for more specific information about access during your travel dates. The renovation will be ongoing from April 2024 until the summer of 2025. The Westin Hapuna Hotel will *not* be impacted by the renovation and will be open as normal. Our resort office is located at the Mauna Lani Terrace and is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm. We are available for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of a property-related emergency.
