The exterior fully embraces its Colonial origins, while the interior takes a Mid-Century Modern twist. Host was VERY responsive, reactive, and accommodating. Newly renovated, spacious, nicely decorated with attention to detail. Amenities were also nice. Host reported a pest problem that worsens in the spring.
Quite residential neighborhood. Dollar General is a 5 minute walk.
You should have a car while staying here. While a few things are within walking distance, most are not. Additionally, there is no local transit options, are Ubers are less likely in the area.
The house has two driveway spots and two spots out front on the street.

I grew up in this house. An aspiring architect, I offered design assistance to my parents as they DIY'd it to death. None was ever taken! Naturally, when I bought it, I wanted to make some changes of my own! Now, it is a Modern home, that happens to be 140-16o years old. It provides me comfort and respite when I visit family or need to recharge in a quite place. I am offering that experience to others visiting the area. I hope you enjoy it. :-)
