Welcome to 'The Feijoa Tree' guesthouse. Located at the back of our property in New Brighton, 1km walk through Rawhiti Park to the beach, where you can take a long walk, go swimming or relax in Te Puna Taimoana Hot Pools. The wonderful New Brighton pier is close by & a fabulous library looking out to the waves if you need an inspiring space to read or work!! New Brighton has good coffee, cafes, a supermarket, bike trails, good surf & is only 15mins drive to Christchurch city centre! Spacious single room with Queen bed & single trundle bed if required, a small table & stools with attached bathroom as per photos. Please make yourself at home here. We will give you privacy although our dog may want to visit! We will do our best to keep her away if that is your preference. You may see us in the garden & our children sometimes enjoy shooting hoops (basketball) near our house. You are welcome to join in!!

Wonderful space seperated from the main house. Very private and comfortable. Tracy and Phil very very friendly and accommodating. Throughly enjoyed my stay with them.

Metro Bus to city centre, number 60 (2min walk to bus stop)
Bus from Airport, number 8 into city bus interchange & then number 60 to us
(would take approx 1 & half hours on public Metro bus & cost $4 cash if you keep your ticket & take next bus within a time frame) If you plan to bus around look into a Metro card at interchange or at New Brighton library nearby our place)
Uber to city centre $20-$25 (15-20mins)
Uber to/from airport approx $50 (approx 25mins depending on traffic)

Kia ora, our family of 5 plus Mossy dog welcome you to New Brighton, a lovely town by the sea on the edge of Christchurch. We love to holiday, surf, mt bike, go tramping, white water kayak/rafting, ski & snowboard, walk our dog on the beach & relax. We are very happy to give you tips on places to visit locally & around NZ! Our young friendly dog will get excited when you arrive & may greet you with barking first & then would love a cuddle!
