Oozing character and old-world charm, this converted two-bedroom cottage is the perfect rural retreat. Enjoying a secluded location near Nidderdale, it's also close to the thriving spa town of Harrogate and its Convention Centre, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travellers. Two dogs are also welcome and with the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering endless opportunities to explore, there's something here for everyone. Traditional touches are to be found throughout this cottage, complemented by creative decor to create a very homely feel. The lounge provides a welcoming place to unwind with comfortable sofas and a warming wood burner making this a relaxing environment to enjoy a film. A cleverly designed area under the stairs provides a safe alternative place to leave your dogs, too. The cottage-style kitchen, with extendable dining table, is both colourful and stylish, and features all you'll need for preparing meals and snacks. Heading upstairs you'll find two cosy double bedrooms along with the main bathroom. Outside and across the quiet country lane, there's a large private garden and patio, with furniture for drinks and al fresco dining. Please note that although the garden is mostly enclosed, there is no boundary by the stream and there is also an unfenced pond. If you don't fancy venturing far from your front door, take a walk around Lindley Reservoir, which is a haven for birds and wildlife. There are many local walks and cycle trails to explore too. Harrogate (6 miles) is packed with things to do, including a visit to the Valley Gardens, the Royal Pump Room Museum or the Turkish Baths. The nearest pubs and shops are 3 miles from the cottage, while there are some great places to eat and drink in some of the quaint local villages including Otley (3.5 miles) and Ilkley (9.5 miles).
