Brightlingsea has lovely sandy beaches and a ferry to nearby Mersea Island. The rural villages of Dedham and Constable lie in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty nearby (16 miles) and are the home and studio of renowned British artist John Constable. You can also head to Colchester (11 miles), which has a beautiful castle and a lively high street. Visit the seaside town of Clacton (10.8 miles), which offers a host of family fun activities, or take a Thames boat excursion from the pier, which sails through Tower Bridge. Enter via a secure communal hallway and the apartment is on the second floor accessd via the lift or stairs. Once inside, leave your coats & shoes in the hallway and head into the spectacular light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with floor-to-ceiling windows giving wonderful 270-degree views.
