The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a definite wow factor. Bi-fold doors run the width of the room, opening to the terrace. For salty beach days, a cliff path leads down to the golden sands, or you can strike out with your pooch and walk some of the South West Coast Path in either direction. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area including the picturesque fishing harbour of Looe (13.5 miles) with its sandy beach and fresh fish restaurants. Boats run daily to Looe Island, a former holy pilgrimage site, now famous for its nature and wildlife.
