Our family had a wonderful time in Dorset and Manchester this past weekend. Phil shared lots of information about restaurants and about the home well in advance of our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were so excited! Relaxing in front of the wood pellet stove, checking out the beautiful interior and layout. Phil and Gwynn reached out right away and the following day and offered up valuable information on things to do beyond the details they had already shared. We had a complete stress-free extended weekend, and they certainly helped make that happen. We ate one night at Depot 62, and highly recommend the eggplant and hummus apps and also the lamb dish. Next night we ate at the Barrows House, a place my parents stayed at several times a few decades ago. I hadn’t eaten there in almost 25 years, and this meal was out of this world! We hiked around Emerald Lake, and the kids (20, 17, 15, 13) had so much fun sledding on the property. I wish we were still there!

This was our family’s third time staying at Gwynn and Phil’s. As always we had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful, cozy and location is perfect. Can’t wait to go back again next year.
This is our 3rd year renting from Phil and Gwynn. They are THE BEST host's around. There are normally between 6-9 of us ladies that go- The home, the location, the water, stream, the firepit, the beds - -just everything is there for everything you need. Phil is the best communicator and has so much information to share, it's beyond believable. Don't hesitate, rent this home today! We LOVE it. You will never be disappointed! See you next year Phil and Gwynn!

自我介绍
Gwynn and I are now married almost 40 years. We have one grown son. I am a former high school teacher. I moved to VT for a ski season, which turned into multiple years of residency. While in VT, I worked for a VT wine distributor, and, I have been in the US wine industry, ever since! Avid cook, gardener, skier, fishing enthusiast, boater, traveler and wineguy. Gwynn is currently employed as a regional sales representative for a major international jewelry brand. She enjoys interior design, travel, entertaining, reading and wine. Our son, lives in Philadelphia, and works in the production side of the film industry. He is a part time employee at an Orvis store in NJ, and an avid, almost rabid, fly-fisherman. For years, it has been our dream to find a second home in Southern VT. We love our place in Dorset VT. We hope that you do, as well.
