Truly unique experience! I think Salem is one of few hosts that offer a real under-the-stars stay experience. Our stay was a private "cave" complete with a mini bonfire, candles, and very warm bedding right in the open desert against one of Wadi Rum's amazing rocks. At the same time its a 1min walk around the rock to clean bathroom facilities with a warm shower and home cooked meals. Its not 5 star luxury but its very homey, well looked after, and comfy. We booked dinner and 2 jeep tours with Salem in addition and I highly recommend all of them. The 1st jeep tour was the more standard route along the red desert, which was nice but felt slightly like a tourist theme park. But the 2nd tour into the white desert section of Wadi Rum was just amazing. Far into the desert near the Saudi border, we were in the wild with hardly any other tourists. We traveled during Ramadan 2024 but this wasnt a challenge at all, as Salem helped with all meals.

Salem is a very warm, nice and talkative person. going to the desert, he prepared us for what we would do. the campsite was located in a very nice place, far from others, so we had no obstructed view of the desert. We took Salem's brother on the desert trip, it was well organized, we saw probably all the most popular attractions in Wadi Rum, so it was a very active day. To sum up, the camp was clean and the dinner prepared for us by our friend Salem was very good, I have no objections to it, we liked everything.

Salem is one of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. He was proactive and reached out to finalise the plans. The tour he offers is a MUST. They drove us around the desert to see magical spots. No one should miss that out. The cave was comfy and private. Although I wasn’t sure on being able to sleep in an open cave in the desert but I felt very safe during the night. The peaceful quiet star gazing was an experience for life. I would definitely do it again with Salem specifically. He was super friendly and accommodating.

salem a été réactif immédiatement après notre réservation, nous a tout expliqué et rassuré. cette expérience a été magique est inoubliable le cadre a était parfait je vous le recommande cette expérience a faire nous avons mangé un bon repas le soir avec feux de camp en plein désert Salem est une extrême gentille bienveillant est surtout serviable c'est une personne avec un grand coeur n'hésitez pas sans aucun doute les yeux fermés ☺️☺️merci encore a toi salem pour tout
