We had a great stay in Stamford. The house was super clean, very comfortable and perfect in a location. The access to Stamford town, beautiful Burghley Park or even just back to the motorway was very handy. We would happily stay again.

Park Gate is a beautiful house in a beautiful town. it is perfectly located. It's just a 10 min walk away from the town centre with an array of great restaurants and shops, a 5 minute walk from a great pub and simply cross the lane and you have a gate which allows you straight into Burghley Park. The house oozes olde world charm but has all the mod cons. The TV/living room downstairs is the perfect snug to watch movies after a long day walking around Stamford. The bedrooms were all great and so very comfortable, a modern and clean bathroom with a fantastic powerful shower and fully kitted out kitchen. Jo was there to warmly greet us, walked us through what we needed to know and answered any questions we had. There was even a bottle of wine in the fridge to help us recover from the long drive over. I simply cannot recommend this house enough. We were very sorry to be leaving today and hope to return soon Sean

What a find! We had a superb time in Stamford not least for Mandy’s beautiful property. Communications before we arrived were excellent and we were greeted to the house by Jo the cleaner. It was the perfect place from which to explore Stamford and Rutland. Everything we could have wished for was provided. A big open space on the doorstep for our 8 year old and 2 year old to burn off energy. We had a day cycling and another where we visited an owl sanctuary. Shops aplenty a very short walk away. Spoilt for choice with nice pubs. First class and would recommend! Thank you!!
