WATERFRONTS & GARDENS: Explore the river boardwalk's impressive flower beds, stretching a 1.3km stroll westward, starting with the River Market one block away. Then walk the other direction along the river to enjoy an equal distance of waterfront at Pier Park with bridge views, and a seasonal food concession.
PARKS & HIKES: Take a 10 minute walk to historic Tipperary Park with over a dozen waterfalls, and a farmer's markets from May to October (search newwestfarmers online for schedule). Then keep walking into the historic neighborhood behind the park, with century old character homes, manicured gardens and classic Christmas light displays. Just beyond that is the larger forested Queens Park and rose gardens. For nature hikes, explore the trails of the 90 hectare forested Central Park, 10 minutes away by Skytrain at Patterson Station. Take the Skytrain 25 minutes to Main Street station in Vancouver and enjoy walking or renting bikes for the 28km of Vancouver's Seawall and greenways, including many beaches. Further out, drive about half an hour to Grouse Mountain, Lynn Valley, and other popular mountain hikes in the area.
SHOPPING DESTINATIONS: Besides the plaza shops in the station below the condo, within a couple blocks are: necessity shops at Columbia Square, specialty shops on Columbia Street, antiques on Front street, and artisans in the River Market. By Skytrain, visit the huge Metropolis mall 10 minutes away at Metrotown station. And further out, take the Skytrain to downtown Vancouver’s popular Robson Street, Yaletown and from here, the pedestrian ferry over to Granville Island known for more local food, arts and crafts.
RESTAURANTS: Many popular cafes, restaurants and pubs are within a short walk from the condo. Ask me about my current favourites and menu recommendations!
CULTURE: Just a block away, the Anvil Centre is the city’s museum and performance arts theatre. In summer, enjoy music and food trucks at ‘Fridays on Front Street’, and other seasonal festivals within a couple blocks. In cooler weather, walk to the Cinemas in the station below the condo, or Bronson's House of Comedy, or a magic show at the Hidden Wonder theatre. And most of Vancouver's cultural offerings are just a short skytrain ride away!

PARKING: There is one free parking spot available in our covered secured garage, with a height limit of 6'2". Vehicles must be registered prior to parking, before 2pm on a business day. Plenty of pay parking is also available in a covered garage on the same block, and there's many other free and pay options within a five minute walk.
TRANSIT: Our building has direct access to the New Westminster Skytrain Station for public transportation, by taking our building’s elevator to level P6 and exiting right into the covered station. A covered city bus station is also next to our building, below the Skytrain station.
