Lovely double room, sleeps one or two people in a brand new house in gated community. The room has a very comfy double bed, a desk, a 32" Smart TV, wifi,a kettle with tea coffee etc and a blackout blind. There is a private parking space outside the house

Gill and Martin's home is beautiful and of exceptional standard. I had a very warm and relaxed welcoming and absolutely everything I needed. Highly recommend.
Myself and my wife had a wonderful four night stay at Gill and Martin's place and we would thoroughly recommend it. Very friendly couple, very peaceful area and ideal for easily getting to the places we wanted to visit. We really felt at home.
Great Airbnb. The house was warm and clean. The room was as described, it was a good size with tea/coffee and TV in the room along with Wifi which made it feel homely. The room was clean and felt fresh. The bed was a good size and comfy. The bathroom was spotless with a good shower and fresh towels. The kitchen was modern and breakfast was provided. I would recommend and would stay again if in the area.
We have stayed with Gill & Martin once before and found it very clean and comfortable, lovely room and bathroom both very clean, nice clean towels and bedding with tea & coffee in the room. there are cereals & bread for toast in the kitchen also milk tea & coffee We would stay again if in that area.
A great room - home from home, bright, sunny and welcoming! Would highly recommend. Public transport connections nearby and som great local restaurants!

We live in Hipperholme which is a village in Calderdale,we are 2.5 miles from Halifax, 2.5 miles from Brighouse, a 15 min drive from Bradford and 25 min drive from Leeds.
There are many shops,small supermarkets takeaways,pubs and restaurants all within walking distance and there is a lovely green space within 5 mins walk and the countryside 10 mins walk away.
For Gentleman Jack fans we live in the area Ann Walker lived and Shibden Hall, which is open to visitors and in a beautiful park, is about a mile away!
The M62 junction 26 is 3 miles away so good transport links, the nearest stations are Brighouse and Halifax and we are on bus routes to Halifax, Brighouse, Bradford and Leeds..

We are a couple who discovered Airbnb originally in 2011 for travel in the USA and Australia and met some amazing people so we then decided to try hosting for ourselves We hosted successfully for many years, it has really enriched our lives and we met people, some of whom are still our friends! We acquired superhost status, and then in March 2020 the pandemic brought it all to an abrupt halt! We then made a decision to move house and have now decided to resume our hosting career! We are friendly and sociable and looking forward to meeting lots more interesting people ! We also still use Airbnb on our travels! You probably think we have a few rules but over the years we have found these are the things that make it all run smoothly for us and more importantly for you as our guests!!
