Pros: - Great location within walking distance to many restaurants and short drive to Manuel Antonio National Park. - Beautiful view of the ocean out backyard. - The daily breakfast and cleaning service was wonderful. - Host and concierge were always quick to respond. - Has everything you need including a kitchen and espresso machine. - Big king size bed which was very comfortable. - Was lovely being able to watch macaws fly around every day while at the pool. Cons: - Unfortunately it wasn’t disclosed in the listing that there was construction next door. This is quite loud starting early in the morning (~7am) and continues most of the day. There is a large tarp hanging to create privacy from the construction. But we worried the noise scared off animals, so we only saw birds. No partial refund was offered when we brought up concern to the host. And this was the most expensive stay we had in CR. We would’ve stayed elsewhere had we known, since we picked it for the pool.

AltaVista was AMAZING!! It definitely looked better in person. The views from our house were stunning. We loved the location, lots of restaurants,coffee shops, and grocery stores near the house. When we arrived it was super clean and we were greeted by Chris. He explained everything in the house, along with tours and breakfast (which is included) we will be back in the future!

Amazing!!!! we loved our stay here! it was private but also convenient to everything! multiple restaurants, grocery stores, ice cream, entertainment within walking distance, yet the house felt very private when we were in it! We loved going out but loved just hanging out watching the animals from our back deck even more. We saw a baby sloth, macaws, toucans, caby Baras, hummingbirds, squirrels, and tons of other birds. The house was stocked with everything you’d need. It was so nice to have breakfast delivered every morning! can’t wait to go back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was perfect for two people, private, and a beautiful view. The concierge was always available to help with whatever our needs were. Would stay again!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. By far the best Air B N B we have ever stayed at. Truly, this place is more than a vacation rental. Chris and his concierge team went above and beyond in making our first trip to Costa Rica so memorable. Through the free concierge service they booked our transportation to and from the airport as well as all our excursions. We had zero stress the entire time thanks to their help. The free breakfast delivered everyday was such a nice addition as well!! The views and wildlife from the deck were unbeatable we saw sloths, monkeys, iguanas and parrots. The property was gated and very secluded which was amazing!! Walkable distance to tons of restaurants and shops! Our favorites were the Ape, LE Papplion, Cafe Milagro, Monarca Coffee Shop, and El Avión. This place is truly a hidden gem and we will be coming back very soon. BOOK BOOK BOOK FOR THE PERFECT GETAWAY.
