The old farmhouse is recently renovated . Come and visit the simplicity of west cork. Central location 25mins from Bantry, 15mins from Skibbereen, 15mins from Leap/Union Hall/Rosscarbery. Close to some of West Cork finest beaches Red strand beach, Inchydoney, Owenahincha and Tragumna beach. 1hr from cork airport. Killaveenogue wind farm loop is 1km from the blue farmhouse. This is a 5.3km loop trail that takes about 1hr 35mins to complete. This trail is great for hiking, running and walking. Large open plan down stairs kitchen/sitting room. Main bedroom has king size bed, two single bedrooms with a single bed in each and a bathroom upstairs. A travel cot and a fold out bed for an additional child is available. The house is on a half acre play which is fenced in. Tree house hidden up in the tree for the adventurous children and a tree swing. Soccer goals and ball available.

Perfect had a few difficult days packing up our father’s house to move him back to uk but Tanya’s place was the perfect sanctuary - so thoughtfully done with extra details - perfect thank you so much
We had very specific needs for our stay which I was able to confirm with Tanya before booking. Tanya was very helpful during our stay and the location was perfect for our needs
We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It is in a rural location but central to all the main west Cork towns and there is a shop in the village to top up groceries. The downstairs is open plan with a stove that we used to make it cosy during our stay. There were plenty of logs and firefighters to light the fire and keep it going. The upstairs splits in 2, the stairs has steps going left to the main bedroom and the bathroom. The right hand steps go to a landing where there are plenty of toys for the kids and next to the landing are 2 single bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a beautiful wooden dollshouse which my daughter loved. My son found the train tracks and some of the board games. The garden is large, with a goalpost for kicking a football around. The main highlight was the treehouse and the swing, my daughter was determined to climb up even in rainy weather! Tanya is a lovely host, friendly, flexible with check in/out and I’d highly recommend her house.
A lovely place to stay, and a pleasure to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. The house amenities are basic, but it was clean and streamlined, quite a cozy fit for a family of 4. We would definitely recommend the place, all things considered.
We had a wonderful stay at the blue farmhouse. The house is so comfortable and cosy and so peaceful. It has everything that you could possibly need. The big selection of toys and books and the beautiful dolls house went down really well with our toddler. We also really enjoyed time in the garden the basket swing and the tree house were lots of fun and also the goal posts and balls provided lots of entertainment. Tanya was a wonderful host. Check in and out were very easy and we were able to check in early which was much appreciated. Tanya also had loads of local recommendations for us which were very helpful. We had booked our stay to get away at a very difficult time for us and she showed us huge kindness. Location of the house is perfect for exploring all that the beautiful west cork has to offer. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

A short drive to all the coastal towns on the Wild Atlantic Way, Drinagh is centrally located in west cork with easy access by car to Leap, Skibbereen and Bantry.
A car is required if visiting the Blue Farmhouse. Parking is available at the house. There is no local bus service in the area.
