It is not correct to make review for traditional homestay in farm and yurtas. It is completely different experience. We spent 2 days in a farm and 4 days in a yurt. Of course we more liked yurta, but someone would more prefer a farm, when the cows and sheeps are there. The nature around yurtas is amazing; mountains, creeks, meadows. Azamat and his family were very nice, we talked a lot (english and russian) so we learned a lot about their farming and living. So, do not expect 5* accomodation, you need to accomodate on their traditional living and that is the most interesting experience.

The couple who owns this very small farm, Batma and Shekan, are very friendly. For the most part, their english is non existant but we managed to get by. If you get meals, be prepared to be over fed, especially if you are a bigger guy. Their farm mainly consists of ~600 laying hens, 80 sheep and ~11 horses. There really isn't much to do here. They are 11 km from At-Bashi. I rode into town with them when they went shopping and again with Sheken while he delivered eggs. You will sleep on the floor on a number of heavy blankets on one side of the main room, across from where you eat. I was plenty comfortable. You have privacy at night. There is no shower, just an outhouse for a toilet. I was alone and stayed two nights. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.
