Life's a beach at the 'Bonneville Beach House' on Turtle Beach at Thai Mueang, just north of Phuket. There's no fancy bars around here… you’ll just have to relax! You will be living over the road from the actual beach, along an undeveloped strip of tropical coastline. You are in a small, quiet Thai town, away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Phuket. Please appreciate that, while the Beach House is a quiet and modern renovation, you are living amongst a local fishing community. A 120 square metre beach house, situated opposite the Turtle Beach in Thai Mueang, just 20 minutes north of Phuket. 2 small bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, plus a comfy sofa-bed in the living area that acts as a third bed for an extra guest. The bedrooms are 3.6 x 3.6 metres each. There is also a dining area for 4, a work space with fast internet, kitchen with most amenities, large bathroom and a shared backyard with lounging, dining and sitting options. Also a small 'kid's nook' as a separate space for kids or guests with its own TV and bean bags to relax. There's a modern gas barbecue on the back verandah to cook up a storm or join in our weekly FREE barbecue dinner. There is air-conditioning in the two bedrooms. There are also sea breezes during most of the year flowing through the beach house. Bonneville is decorated in a modern beach theme with lots of natural surfaces, hues of blue and wood.

Tim is an amazing host!!! The town itself was charming and full of characters! We had a very peaceful time and will always remember our stay and first few days in Thailand 💜 I hope one day we can return and spend some more time soon!!
Very unique stay. I stayed 10 nights a loved it! I felt safe & integrated right into local life with welcoming locals. Right across from a lovely swim-able beach / fisherman families in a local, Thai fishing village. It’s a popular place for Thai on the weekend. Top quality beachfront restaurants / cafes & a 5 star golf course! It’s a real “getaway” & devoid of touristy things found in other Thai beaches. Best bring your own transport! It’s close enough to many attractions - if you’re mobile. I stayed here solo, but it’s extremely large and can take the as many guests as advertised. Kitchen facilities was very handy & well appointed. The common areas are warm in afternoon, so you must use a fan. Whole house is cool in the AM. TLounge is air con, however you must be in that room for effective use. The bedroom airconditioning works very well. Beds are western & quite firm. Great transport prices - pick up / drop off by the host. Highly recommended.
Tim offered and we accepted an airport pickup, so no problem finding it! Tim made recommendations for dining which all turned out to be delicious. The place was clean and had plenty of room for relaxation. It was nicely decorated and had comfortable bedding and linens. The view of the Andaman Sea was great from the front door and the sunsets were spectacular. For a small village there are many options to eat or enjoy a coffee, all just a short walk away. Be sure to try the neighbor’s dried fish!

Thai Mueang is about 20 minutes drive north from the bridge to Phuket. The town is an old tin mining and fishing town and very 'Thai'. Don't expect beach clubs and shopping centres - it's very local, chilled and laid back here.
Our beach houses are situated over the road from a fishing community that has been shrimp farming in the area for centuries.
You can get to Thai Mueang by car or bus - there's not a lot of public transport around. There is street parking out front of the Beach House properties. We can rent you a car, or taxis and ride-hailing apps are available. Beyond that, walking is easy around the town or you could rent a motorbike locally.

Got into interior design as I moved into various rentals around Thailand so decided to keep doing my YouTubing and writing whilst creating some beach-themed rentals as a side-hustle. And here we are, living in Turtle Beach with three, renovated short-term rentals. And we love sharing the Turtle Beach life and an opportunity for our guests to unwind and chill in a provincial Thai beach town.
