What a magic spot! We are regulars to Straddie but this place takes the island’s beauty to another level. During our stay we had some good weather which of course was amazing being able to walk from the backyard straight onto the beach. We also had quite a bit of rain which surprisingly, we enjoyed just as much. We spent hours lounging on the deck spotting cheeky kookaburras, kangaroos, koalas and dolphins. The house layout is perfect, allowing you to soak up the view over the bay from just about every room. Even though it was just the two of us, the house doesn’t feel too big or excessive, it was just perfect. However, we could see how well it would work for a family or larger group, especially with the extra rooms. Would be a great family holiday spot. Steph was an amazing host…Great communication leading up to our stay with clear instructions which made our time totally stress-free. Cannot fault the house or the host. 10 out of 10!

This location is magical. We loved the sound of the waves and how peaceful it was. We even saw a little Koala in the yard. At night, we could see so many stars in the sky. The house is near gorgeous, empty beaches. It is located where Moreton Bay meets the Coral Sea/Pacific Ocean, so you get the best of both worlds in terms of Bay and Ocean. The house is very nice, with large windows, and everything was as described. This is one of my family's favorite places.

We were a large group and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so we’re planning to book again! The house was well equipped with everything we needed and more, enough space for a large group with lots of kids, the beach front was picture perfect and we saw dolphins moments after arriving. A lot of “pinch me” moments and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for having us!

This Airbnb was mostly good. On the bright side, the location was fantastic, with the beach right on our doorstep, offering stunning views and easy access to the sand and waves. The house itself was spacious and clean, providing plenty of room for our group to relax comfortably. We also appreciated how easy it was to locate the property, thanks to clear directions provided by the host, who was also very responsive throughout our stay. However, there were some notable drawbacks. The lack of an indoor dining area suitable for larger groups (5+) was inconvenient, forcing us to juggle seating arrangements during meal times. Additionally, the absence of air conditioning in the main upstairs living area/kitchen made it very uncomfortable to cook, especially since fans didn't quite suffice. Some kitchen amenities were lacking, with no salt, oil, or cling wrap provided. Also, the Kitchen-aid blender was out of order.

This place is absolutely beautiful! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Nothing short of a piece of paradise! The gift voucher was a lovely welcome gift that put this Airbnb a cut above the rest. The host was very communicative and kindly gave us a late check out. Instructions and details about the house were very clear. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would go back in a heartbeat!
