I visited for a "workcation" and the place was perfect. Good wifi, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen including basics (oil, spices...), good communication with hosts (they even left some firewood and marshmallows for the bonfire pit out front), and amazing views of the lake! Only thing was that they had several air fresheners throughout the cabin that were quite strong, so if you are sensitive to those sorts of things just be aware. I opened up the windows though to air the place out and it was fine, and I'd definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed with our corgi and planned to do some hiking and rock hounding. The first day it rained so Plan B came into play….we walked Sheridan Road/Lane with the dog and let her get her feet wet. Then we headed to a couple wineries-when it rains; they pour! The next day it was clear so we took the pup on a 5-7 mile hike in the State Park. Beautiful. Peaceful. Found a Petoskey stone and another fossil. We had breakfast daily at Matt’s in Roscommon …. Reasonably priced and left overs came back with us. The hosts let us know they were available but we did not need them. The cabin was clean and you would not know they allow pets! It was easy to find and the neighborhood was pleasant. Enjoy your stay, we did!

Star rating Great. My stay at the Gingerbread cabin was very good. The cabin is perfectly clean and comfortable with new appliances and includes needed linens and cookware. Outside deck is great for outdoor living, cooking. Host is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cabin in a beautiful neighborhood. You can see the lake! Front deck and firepit are really nice. Everything is as described. Hosts were great and made everything easy. It's cozy but there is plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Felt very homey and peaceful.

David and Kara are very responsive and friendly. They made the check-in, stay and checkout extremely easy. Their place was clean and tidy. 10 out of 10
