The Penguin House Studio was a delightful place to stay in. Very comfortable, private and convenient to all amenities and it's beautiful natural surrounds. A must stay!! Thank you so much David.

My daughter, small quiet non-shedding dog and I had a lovely stay in David's 1brm unit. Cons: *Photos not accurate for our unit. They need to be specific to each unit *Hard double bed *Tiny bar fridge, freezer, nearly frozen shut, full of frost. *No face washer *1 roll toilet paper for 4 day stay *Feet sticky & black walking around on unclean *"AirBnb" indicates breakfast supplies are available. No breakfast supplies included. *no oil as pictured *no washing machine as described (not that we needed it). *One tea towel not enough *Bedroom Light globe is terrible, taking time to warm up. Pros: *Location location! 2 doors up from a cafe with excellent coffee & staff, 2 doors down from the Sunday Penguin Market, stroll at the end of the street to one of two beach options, bottleshop & restaurants close by *Great water pressure *Excellent quality towels *Clean (other than floor) *Ability to have our small dog stay with us Would we stay again? Maybe, if some of the "Cons" were remedied.

if you just want somewhere to lay your head at night then David's place will suit you fine. if you are looking for a space to take a break and relax I wouldn't recommend.

The stay is co-located with a restaurant with parking available at the rear via a laneway. This would not be suitable for vehicles towing trailers. Unfortunately our host did not convey entry information and was not physically available to provide the keys. I was fortunate to guess the key box code to access the keys. This was stressful given our late arrival which was conveyed to the host. In his defence, he advised there had been an emergency in Brisbane requiring his attention. The stay has a generous space and is warm. Furniture and fittings are dated and would benefit from a refresh. As per other guests comments the bed mattress has had its day and not that comfortable to sleep on. Overall cleanliness was okay, but the stay would benefit from a deep clean. Grease residue on the floor adjacent the oven doesn't present well. Overall the stay is okay but over priced for what it provides when compared to other AirBnB stays I've been to.

Clean and tidy unit. No outlook or view but very close to Penguin main st and convenient for a short stay.
