This newly remodeled home was designed with your family in mind, from the inviting landscaped backyard with kids play area and swing set, to the adorable kids bunk beds in the first floor bedroom, to the movie room in the loft complete with screen and projector. The adults will appreciate the ground floor living and great room design with newly remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops, all new kitchen appliances and a big reward at the end of the day, a soak in the private hot tub after the kids are tucked in. This home is located in a quiet woodsy neighborhood with easy access to Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood ski resorts, 2 golf courses, and Tahoe Paradise Park–a great way to spend the day with the family, floating on Lake Baron, or playing tennis/pickleball and picnicking on the lawn. The home is also a short 15 minute drive to the casinos, the Upper Truckee River for rafting, or beaches of Lake Tahoe. This home has comfortable sleeping and dining for a family of 8. It cannot host more than 6 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7. We loved staying at this house. There were so many things for my 3-year old son to do, like play in the playground out back and watch movies on the projector! There were also a lot of toys there to keep him occupied. The hot tub was great but so strange that the police will come give you a ticket if you stay in the hot tub after 10... not RnR's policy so you can't fault them. It's just an odd thing to note for the area in general. Overall we loved our stay here!
A fantastic accommodation choice for your visit to the South Lake Tahoe area! The house has been beautifully remodeled and offers ample space. While the amenities are superb, we were disappointed to find the hot tub out of service during our stay due to a leak.
We loved our stay at Bear Hollow. It’s perfect for families, the beds were super comfortable, and the house was very well appointed with good qualities kitchen items, games, and everything we needed for a cozy winter family vacation.
Overall, it was a delightful experience. The home is beautifully designed and it is an ideal choice for those looking to ski both Heavenly and Kirkwood. The private hot tub, projection room, and ample space added a lot to our enjoyment. The interior of the house was well-appointed and comfortable. This Airbnb is a fantastic ski retreat with great amenities and thoughtful design. However, the stringent rules and potential fines can be a cause for concern, impacting the overall relaxation and enjoyment of the stay. If you're comfortable navigating through these rules, it's a wonderful place to create lasting memories.
What a wonderful and private getaway for our family. The house is perfectly set up for little ones and not-so-little ones, with thoughtful use of space, useful amenities, and a great backyard to get some fresh air. Highly recommended!

Forested neighborhood with resident neighbors. Close to all ski areas and fantastic bike trails and walking trails accessible from the home. Please respect neighbors right to quiet and tranquility.
